I’m an independent consultant, entrepreneur, and founder of Chicken Dinner Club. I started this community so more independent consultants could enjoy the benefits of an “independent work-lifestyle."

In 2021, I quit my 21-year corporate career to pursue an independent life.

I scraped by the first year, sub-contracting for larger firms and picking up hours where I could. But it was never enough.

Between projects, I was burning through savings—working 60-hour weeks and unable to sleep.

I drew a line in the sand—sell $30k of consulting in 90 days, or quit and get a job.

(And I'd rather get punched in the face than get another job.)
